Louie Schultz

Louie was born in 1955 and is a lifelong resident of Birch Run. He played sports throughout high school, lettering each year in football, baseball and basketball. His summers were always busy with baseball, including Connie Mack in Saginaw with Gerkin Builders and The Township Times teams. He played in Flint's men's league later on. In college, he was Mott Community College's athlete of the year as a catcher. Then, he transferred to Central Michigan University where he played for their first ever MAC Championship team. After college, Louie played baseball four seasons in Europe for Neptunus, Rotterdam, and The Netherlands.
