*Arguably the finest woman golfer Saginaw County has ever produced.
*The Valparaiso graduate won the national collegiate championship and also was a seven-time women's state champ.
*The daughter of former Saginaw County Club pro Loren Shook won 11 Spring Lake championships in her career.
*Boice played in the Saginaw District Golf Association tournament in 1965 when she was the state amateur champion.
*She is in the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame (1985) and the Michigan Amateur Hall of Fame (1982).
