Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship Criteria
Recipients shall meet the following criteria:
- High School senior from Saginaw County
- Male or Female
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must have lettered in a varsity sport in high school for at least two years
- Applicant, parent or legal guardian must be a Lifetime Voting Member of the Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Must be enrolled full-time at a Michigan college or university, with preference given to Saginaw Valley State University

Evaluation Criteria
- Attending Saginaw Valley State University – 20%
- Financial Need - 15%
- Essay – 10%
- Overall involvement in work, extracurricular activities and community service – 20%
- Letters of Recommendation – 10%
- Citizenship and Character – 15%
- Leadership – 10%
