Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship Criteria

Recipients shall meet the following criteria:

• Graduating high school senior in Saginaw County
• Male or Female
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must have lettered in a varsity sport in high school for at least two years
• Applicant, parent or legal guardian must be a Lifetime Voting Member of the Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame
• Must be enrolled full-time at Saginaw Valley State University

            Evaluation Criteria

• Financial Need – 25%
• Essay – 25%
• Overall involvement in work, extracurricular activities and community service – 20%
• Letters of Recommendation – 10%
• Citizenship and Character – 10%
• Leadership – 10%
