Tenth Annual Golf Outing
2011 GOLF OUTING ANOTHER SUCCESS
For the second consecutive year, Brian Watz, Scott Montalbano, John LeFevre and Gary Hrywnak Jr. teamed up to capture first place honors at the Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame’s Golf Outing.
The four-person scramble format was held Saturday, June 12 at Apple Mountain Golf Course. Nearly $3,500 was raised at this year’s event, which is one of the main fundraisers for the Hall of Fame. Golf Outing Chairman Bill Halliday would like to thank all the members of his committee, volunteers, and businesses and individuals who donated gifts or made donations to the outing.
Next year’s event – the 11 annual outing – will take place Saturday, June 9, 2012, at The Fortress in Frankenmuth. Cost is $75 per golfer and includes 18 holes with cart, driving range, continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, gift bags and prizes.
