Edward Kocks was born on January 1, 1944 in Saginaw. He attended Saint Peter & Paul, South School and is a 1962 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Upon graduation he attended Delta College from 1968-1970. While in school he played baseball and was a letter winner for 3 years. He also played knothole baseball and fast pitch softball after graduation. Edward served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967 in Europe. He retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 85 after twenty-two years of service. He is married to Judy and they have 4 children. Edward serves on the Board of Directors for First Area Credit Union and is a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where he has served on various committees as well as being an usher at mass. He is also a member of the Knight of Columbus #8808
